Prakash Yashwant Ambedkar (Mumbai, 10 May 1954) is an Indian politician.
He is national leader of a local political party called Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh (BBM).〔(Biographical Sketch of Member of 13th Lok Sabha )〕 He is the grandson of Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.〔(Prakash Ambedkar grandson of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar | Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar )〕〔(Ambedkar’s grandson stresses on leadership qualities )〕 He was a member of the 13th Lok Sabha of India.〔(Lok Sabha )〕 He has twice represented the Lok Sabha constituency of Akola, Maharashtra, India.〔 He has served in both houses of the Indian Parliament.〔〔 His younger brother Anandraj Ambedkar is also a politician.

Prakash Yashwant Ambedkar was born on 10 May 1954 (Mumbai, Maharashtra, India). His father's name is Yashwant Bhimrao Ambedkar, and mother's name is Miratai Yashwant Ambedkar. Prakash Ambedkar was named by his grandfather, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar known as the architect of modern Indian constitution; Prakash Ambedkar attended St.Stanislaus High School and Siddharth College, Mumbai India. He led many movements all over India since 1982. His brother Anandraj Ambedkar leads Republican Sena.
